Welcome to our Third Anniversary episode on Mixcloud! We’ve been spinning the tunes for three years here without so much as a letup, so we thought that for this adventure, it would be fitting that we bring you Chapter 11 of our Friday Night Oldies series — rockers from long ago when Fred Flintstone was a boy. Following an animated introduction from the amazing Jason Bonham (Son of Bonzo), we start off our excursion in Chuck Berry territory along with some rock a beatin’ boogie from the one and only Bill Haley (who adorns this week’s show artwork). In this episode, we endeavor to bring you some familiar oldies from the likes of Elvis and Ricky Nelson, but we also plunge head first into the musty vaults for some wild & crazy 50s vinyl rarities that have not seen the light of day for eons.
