Obviously we haven’t been paying attention to the passing of time, because it’s already the SECOND ANNIVERSARY of the world-famous Captain Maniac Show, live and impersonal right here on Mixcloud.com! That’s right, folks, we have been broadcasting continuously for two whole years (since May, 2014), albeit with a necessary two-week break earlier this year. However, our approach is simple: rather than strive to present one style of music with each episode, we have instead ventured to bring you an assortment of musical categories every week, including rockabilly, British Blues, psychedelic, surf, garage, British Invasion, 70s classic rock, metal — and lest we forget, our ever-popular theme shows! To celebrate this monumentous occasion, our show tonight focuses on good old 50s rock n roll, in Volume 7 of the Friday Night Oldies Party. What’s the word? Thunderbird!
