Oddly enough, Steppenwolf is not included on this week’s show, but we DO present Big Brother & the Holding Company, Blue Cheer, The Mothers of Invention, Country Joe and the Fish, The Grateful Dead (the usual suspects!), along with numerous psychedelic rarities including the Jelly Bean Bandits, The Magicians, Clear Light -- enough mind-expanding tunes to permanently alter the time-space continuum and turn the air into cottage cheese! As Eric Burdon warns us herein, it's The Year of the Guru (included on tonight’s show). Must there always be these colors?
