I have always been passionate about music, with a preference towards R&B, Soul and Pop. My love of music led me to dancing, I was introduced to Modern Jive. Some years later I discovered the phenomenal West Coast Swing dance style. A hybrid of various dance styles which started life on the West Coast of America. A style of dance that lends itself better to music between 90 to 116 Bpm but not exclusively so. This introduced me to a whole new world of music, and artists I had never even heard of. Injuries meant I was not able to dance as much as I once did. I started to become interested in DJ'ing at dance events so that I could remain part of this great network. Very quickly, I was given an opportunity to DJ at an event, and I kept the floor full for nearly two hours. I was hooked. I now run my own monthly dance freestyle evening, where I not only host the event but DJ. I love finding new music for people to dance too. Many of these tracks go on to become big chart hits.
