Ricco Sakona begins with a heavy kick and the sound of air under pressure. White noise and ambient textures gather around the rhythm, establishing a darker atmosphere almost immediately. Congas and hand percussion give the track a physical pulse while Sakona's characteristic delayed synth work echoes through the mix. The sounds are wide and industrial. They appear, disappear and leave traces behind them. The original vocal is woven through echo and delay until the voice becomes another part of the surrounding architecture. Synths spread outward, percussion holds the center and echoes remain hanging behind them, giving the arrangement considerable size without crowding it. It is a darker interpretation of Yes I (Want), built from percussion, space and pressure.
