Michael Kimbugwe is the co-chairperson of the fund raising committee for the TERREWODE Women's Maternal Health Hospital Soroti, Eastern Region, Uganda. Obstetric fistula is one of the most serious and tragic childbirth injuries. It is a hole between the birth canal and bladder or rectum caused by prolonged,obstructed labor, without access to timely, high-quality medical treatment or a c-section. The Ugandan North American Association leadership has parnered and embarked on fundraising project to help facilitate the building project in Uganda.
