Daniel Nsomekela is the Director and Founder for Disability Integration Initiative in Africa (DIIA) which was founded in June 2012. DIIA's vision is to have Africa where the Disabled have access to health care; Transport, education and technology. One of their major goals is to foster integration and eliminate conditions that discriminate people with Disabilities. Daniel is a strong social and political activist who is known for his courageous calls for African governments to prioritize the welfare of citizens with disabilities in their national budgets. He recently visited his home country of Zambia where he traveled extensively and joins us to share his experiences/observations on the strides that Zambia has made in recent years towards the plight of its disabled citizens.
