Carol Chanda C. is the Founder of Carol Cares Foundation, a non profit organization which offers services to disadvantaged children and women in parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, teaching the community and creating awareness on communicable and preventable diseases, women rights, education and advocacy. According to Carol, the idea behind Carol Cares Foundation is to:
Offer hope, restore dignity, be a mouthpiece for children who have lost so much in their lives. Orphans hold a special place in our hearts for they are vulnerable and helpless on their own. Our society offers little resources to provide a decent living for these children. It’s because of this great need to preserve and protect these children that Carol Cares Foundation was formed.
Carol Cares Foundation is currently involved in several projects, including a malaria-screening exercise in Ndola, Zambia, and fundraising for an orphanage also in Ndola.
