My mother and father left their homeland because they believed that life would be far better in America. They were the first in their families to immigrate to the United States and, therefore, had no personal proof that their notions were true, but they took the leap of faith any way. Little did they know how profoundly their actions would impact the core of who I am.
I believe that everyone is a gift to the universe that is looking for ways to be expressed. I believe that every person has within themselves the ability to improve the lives of others and their own lives in so doing.
I have been on a journey to discover, understand and honor the gifts that people are to others. My journey led to the creation of this show which is a celebration of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for selfless reasons. I will share stories of some who have stood out in my life and have become my personal heroes. I hope these stories will resonate and inspire you.
