100,000 Poets for Change is a great concept. The idea of 1000s of poets standing up & recording their words for quick uploads to YouTube to voice disapproval with the state of things is poet Michael Rothenberg's noble idea. Although I always suspect anything that massive, I dedicated this show to the poetry from related events because I believe Rothenberg when he declares: Poets for Change is a positive movement, with voices calling for social, environmental, and political sustainability.
I'm sure the 100s of events were successful in 1 eye or another but I couldn’t find much apropos material online. What I found & liked I included. I supplemented it w/ material that attacks the corporate, idiocratic kleptocracy ["cold-hearted bastards"] as guilty of severe degradation of environment in the name of profit.
