DJ, producer, visual artist Brit Hansen has been an integral figure in Seattle's electronic music community for decades. She started making music in high school alongside Pezzner as beloved duo Jacob London, with a steady string of hotly-tipped 12” tech-house releases throughout the 2000s. Brit has since shifted her focus to her evolving solo works as Hanssen, steering away from club-centric creations in favor of cinematic, dreamy, synth-heavy leftfield soundscapes. Brit is inspired to take listeners on transportive sonic journeys with her mix of weird, exciting, and unpredictable sounds.
