Born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and based in New Orleans, C’est Funk is a student of world groove based music made in the 70’s and 80’s. Specialized in funk and disco from Brazil to Nigeria to Japan, C’est Funk hosts his monthly event Batucada Groove, NOLA’s finest international dance party. In this hour show he digs through world disco & funk songs that get the Batucada Groove dancefloor burning up, as wellas New Orleans funk b-sides and rarities.
