So Flute sprang onto the scene in Manchester back in 2012, beginning its life in iconic basement venue The Roadhouse, and delivering a melting-pot of worldwide music that focuses on a strong, soulful undercurrent. Alongside local residents Baloo, Bolts, Danuka, Werkha, Yadava, Eccah and the inimitable MC Kwasi, past guests include Floating Points, Alexander Nut, Marcellus Pittman, Sadar Bahar, Dego & Kaidi, and WOH’s very own Gilles Peterson.

For their Saturday night show on WOH Radio, So Flute residents Baloo, Bolts, Danuka and Yadava will be taking a look back on 10 years of Manchester parties, sharing life-affirming moments from the dancefloor and classic tunes that have come to define the So Flute sound, along with some candid stories of mishaps and mischief from behind the DJ booth.
