Gaby D’Annunzio is a creative producer, curator, and radio host whose work traces identity, belonging, and community through sound. In the Our Heartbeats show on the WOH Radio stage, she speaks with DIMV from Our Heartbeats — a migrant and refugee DJ collective led by producer Kensaye and produced by Counterpoints Arts in association with Babylon Migrant Project and Compass Collective.
Together, they explore queer life in Russia, from the openness of the 1990s to the repression that followed, weaving personal stories and music into a powerful reflection on exile, resilience, and connection. Through the lens of underground queer music, the show offers a moving portrait of how sound becomes a lifeline — creating space for community, culture, and a sense of home across borders.
