The Encona Show: Jodie Yates with Duval Timothy // 03-10-2018

Journalist, radio host and Worldwide FM assistant Jodie is back on the airwaves with her latest project. The Encona Show is an exploration of saucy sounds from across the globe. A platform to showcase artists who are defying form in their fields, the programme will feature genre-spanning music and interviews from contemporary artists.

Joining her is Duval Timothy, a multidisciplinary artist from South London via Sierra Leone. His work is an introspective look at identity, multi-heritage and diaspora. His latest musical venture is ‘2 Sim’ was released on 21 September 2018. ‘2 Sim’ is a phrase used in Sierra Leone to describe someone with dual nationality – two sim cards. Timothy’s talents span across music, art, sculpture, fashion and food.
