Palestinian/Lebanese/British Kamar presents Tealeaves, a new residency dedicated to exploring south through migration.
Each month, Kamar will be highlighting music made my migrant artists, both new and old, from a plethora of times and places, whilst also bringing on migrant guests, zoning in on their culture and community, and how the movement of people has intersected with music.
For the inaugural show, Kamar welcomes multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ Mera Bhai, member of the South Asian creative collective Daytimers - together, they'll explore British-Indian migrant communities and an extensive set of innovative music created since the 1980s.
