On this week’s takeover, Sounds Familiar is celebrating 2 years of Mother Tongue! Hosted by Patrick Gibin founder of the Verona-based pressing plant, distribution company, record label and online record store. What seemed at the time like an absurd late night conversation between Patrick, Volcov and Ornella about how to support independent musicians and record labels like themselves - Mother Tongue became a reality in May 2019. Patrick left his day job and with the help of some very dedicated friends, together they built the 360° hub it is known as today.
