Over the past seven years, the Scottish Jazz scene has grown so much with such a crazy rise in the strength of our scene including multiple bands having international success and a whole host of awards, Scotland continues to produce new artists with beautiful and inspirational music.
Because of such a beautiful community spirit, welcoming in new musicians and everyone collaborating with everyone, we are at an all time high in our wonderful scene. It brings Rebecca Vasmant great pleasure and joy to share some of the new and exciting music coming out of Scotland from lots of amazing women and fresh new musicians and producers doing great things, keeping the spirit of the Scottish music scene very much alive. Empowering and supporting others is something that the city holds dear and is one of her biggest passions and great honours.
