Photay joins us ahead of his appearance at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards 2017. The Woodstock, NY born electronic producer and composer counts Aphex Twin and the music of Guinea, West Africa as key influences, and become known for his gritty electronic style. With an LP in the works, Photay's playful, melodic and textural sound has cemented Photay as one of Gilles's favourite musicians of this year.
Playing lots of his favourite tunes from Africa, tracks from his upcoming LP and also pieces from his side project Entendu Ensemble.
