Join Elinam.yaa & Yao for an exploration of drums as the heartbeat of life. Inspired by C.K. Ladzekpo’s teachings on West African percussion and Anlo-Ewe rhythm, the episode explores how polyrhythm reflects the structures of life. with each instrument’s main beat representing a person’s core purpose, held steady, strong and dynamic.
Elinam.yaa & Yao share some of their favourite records where percussion and rhythm take centre stage, alongside new music from Anabel Rose, BiQo, 95ANTNY and T'neeya.
