As part of our Studio Monkey Shoulder project we broadcast live from Terrestrial Funk record store to celebrate the launch of Masisi Radio, a new independent internet radio station based in Miami, Florida. Masisi is providing a platform to their local and diaspora community of Black, Queer and Trans musicians, DJs, thinkers, and artists as an independent hub for self expression through sound and radio art.
The last hour comes courtesy of Masisi resident Mr B, closing the day with an electric mix of uptempo dance sounds, fierce club edits and dancehall rhythms.
