MARINA’s monthly show looks from a broad angle to make the connections between music, people and the world. With a worldwide music policy, this show explores the perspectives of guests ranging from musicians, to artists, chefs, politicians, and more. Hailing from London, and speaker of Spanish and Chinese, MARINA is a creative producer and artist manager working on international and local music projects, is part of Ladies Music Pub collective and freelances for Brownswood Recordings, amongst others.
This month, MARINA welcomes Minnie Stephenson, reporter for Channel 4 News and LGBTQ activist. Having interviewed Oprah, Nan Goldin, Skunk Anansie all the way through to reporting on homophobia in football, this week MARINA traces these connections, expanding on the how and why Stephenson is a reporter, her favourite records, and how she navigates the world of news in lockdown, and beyond.
