Now this is a name not too familiar but should be known to all lovers of god soul music. Bert DeCoteaux, born in Brooklyn NY with a music school background of classical and Jazz, went on to graduate in composition at Julliard. His working partnership with Tony Silvester developed a ‘sugar sweet soul’ sound that penetrated national radio and became a crossover winning formula. I’ll be digging deep in the crates to present a selection of music showcasing he’s masterful arrangements.
