With a week to go until Notting Hill Carnival, Kate's August edition welcomes some of the legendary ladies who've been wobbling the speaker stacks for decades: Lady Banton of Seduction City (formerly Mellotone) and D'Nyce of Rampage.
They'll be selecting their biggest dub, reggae, dancehall and ragga Carnival tunes and discussing sound system culture, Carnival through the years and the challenges of putting on the UK's biggest street party. Plus tropical new/old music and abstract club beats from Kokoko, Bryte, Nyege Nyege, Dur Dur Band and more.
