For their 10th anniversary, avant-garde label Erased Tapes takeover for four hours to showcase their music from the past and future. The London based independent record label focuses on releasing avant-garde music. widely regarded as diverse in genres and styles.
Label founder Robert Raths will play a four hour set of specially selected tunes from their catalogue on wax, as well as live in-studio performances from Daniel Brandt and Penguin Cafe.
Penguin Cafe brings together a talented and disparate group of musicians from the likes of Suede, Gorillaz and Razorlight, initially to perform Simon Jeffes’ legacy of Penguin Cafe Orchestra music. The band perform a live session of new and unique genre-defying music.
Daniel Brandt is a Berlin based music producer and co-founder of Germany’s electroacoustic ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick. Daniel joined the Erased Tape family this year with his solo debut album Eternal Something.
