El Palmas is an intertropical South American DJ and selector with a transcendental quest: the awakening of ancient gods of the tropics. Spinning records and dropping needles with more than 19 years of experience he recreates shamanic experiences establishing telluric connections through tropical ecstatic trips interweaving reggae, arabic funky, african universal heritage, transoceanic dub, Tel-Aviv vibes, disco and bossa nova. After La Muerte del Perro Negro, El Dragón Criollo was the only one who could take his place, but he didn’t. He said El Perro Negro was irreplaceable. Then he was lost for days, weeks and months, everybody thought he was dead, but he was not dead, he was celebrating along side El General, a ritual for leaving the past behind.
