DJ Jigüe is a pivotal figure in Cuba's electronic music scene. Hailing originally from Santiago de Cuba and now living in Havana, DJ Jigüe's music represents a true hybrid of Cuban rhythms and electronic music from all over the world. As inspired by Wu Tang as Juan Pablo Torres he works with artists from all over the island to push Cuban music into new directions. For this show he celebrates the release of his new EP, EKELEKUA on his own Guampara Records with a mix of music that represents his concept of afrofuturismo tropical.
