Content producer, presenter, founding member and former music editor of gal-dem, Antonia Odunlami will be showcasing talents from young Afro-Caribbean creative diasporans that include music artists, playwrights, actors, entrepreneurs. This show aims to build a space to celebrate the diversity and to champion different styles and approaches creatives can have while still being a part of the diaspora.
Antonia is joined by Akinola Davies for a chat and Kensaye for a guest mix.
Director and moving image artist Akinola Davies Jr. aka Crack Stevens talks about his visual work with the likes of Blood Orange (Charcoal Baby), Klein (Marks of Worship) and first US solo exhibition H.O.D (Heroes of Displacement)which explores the reclamation of African artefacts through the west via ritual.
French DJ and producer Kensaye delivers a guest mix that blends all the elements of his sound which spans the globe.
