Connections to Sound: Kayla Painter with Lake Turner // 24-05-21

This month's show focuses on our connection to sound through all of the themes explored in the first six shows. Playing a selection of tracks that either resonate with our body, come from the natural world, draw on the landscapes around us, or simply music that connects us to other times, places or people. Kayla is joined by a special guest, London based musician Andrew Halford aka Lake Turner. Lake Turner has been a part of post punk and indie groups Great Eskimo Hoax and Trophy Wife, as well as creating remixes for bands such as Weval and Foals. Celebrating the release of his debut electronic album on Kompact 'Videosphere', Lake joins Kayla to talk through some track selections for the show.
