Drawing from the solidarity of past revolutionary movements this mix is a collection of political & cultural leftist songs and speeches from vinyl recordings dedicated to the collective struggle against the genocide, fascism and state sanctioned violence targeting immigrants, communities of color and the working class people! From Palestine to Central America to Los Angeles, “Solo el Pueblo, Salva el Pueblo”. Gabriel aka gfunktrece grew up in the San Fernando Valley with family roots from El Salvador. Counterculture, community organizing and his family refugee experience has shaped his relationship to music. As a DJ and record collector, Gabriel finds importance in preserving music from marginalized communities and music's role in empowering people.
