Hosted by Chief Boima, the show features a mix of music and interviews with musicians, historians, journalists, and more.

We're kicking off a new seasonal theme on Africa Is a Country Radio. Over the next few months we will focus on the relationship between sports and music. To kick things off, in the midst of NBA playoff fever, we take a look at the fascinating historical relationship between basketball, music, and racial politics in the US, as well as glance at some of the cultural implications of the globalization of the game in recent years.
