Sheffield born, Lake District raised, Alex's passion for music stems right back to his early teenage years. Having DJ'd for over ten years and worked professionally in the music business for nearly as long.

From heading up Botchit & Scarper Recordings in London as label manager for a number years, to promoting and programming sell out shows at the likes of The Egg and 93 Feet East in the capital. Since early 2004 Alex has focused on showcasing cutting edge music and visuals under his 44 Presents banner.

A hand full of artists to appear at 44 Presents include; Anti-Pop Consortium, Evil Nine, A Guy Called Gerald, Micachu and the Shapes, Plaid, Coldcut, Volcano the Bear, Otto Von Schirach and Mary Anne Hobbs.
