"Mr. Rive plays an eclectic mix of funk, soul, hip hop and wonky. He demonstrates a deep understanding of music and rhythm due to his Cape Verdian routes. Surrounded by music of all types from a very early age, he started DJing in 2005 in Almada, Portugal.

He has DJed in fashionable Bairro Alto, Lisbon and London where he now resides. He currently has a residency at the Social in London called Baby Got Sole and is a founding member of the Anglo-Portuguese London collective Supalusa. He has also DJed at Bar Rua, Maria Caxuxa In Lisbon and Cafe 1001, The Big Chill Bar, The Social and Fluid in London."
