Back To My Roots

25 years ago, I was 11 years old and one day after I came back from school my brother played to me Mistadabolina on a cassette. I didn't know that there is hip hop, rap but I was in love with it. That year I've met my childhood friend (in the photo), he was a year older than me but he was very instrumental in my life. His "mission" was to keep me in music and away from bad things. I started collecting music, spending money on cassettes, records, CDs instead of drugs and alcohol.

25 years later as a 35 years old man I am raising my head to the sky and saying:

"I made it"


This mix is a celebration of my 25 years of crate diggin, a great friendship, a brotherhood. Also, this mix is a dedication to my hip hop journey and a big salute to entire old school hip hop crew from my hometown Valjevo in Serbia.
