LTJ Bukem - Yaman Studio_Techno Mix 1 [BUK01] (A)

This mix has been missing from the comprehensive Yaman Studio mix archive for over 20 years, and has just now surfaced to make our lives complete. This 'Techno' Mix from LTJ Bukem has been uncharacteristically MIA, along w/ Bailey's Yaman Techno mix (BUK01 & BUK02) both recorded in 1991.

There *is* some straight up Techno in the Bukem mix, but this mix goes all over the place in a good way! This mix is oddly wild, playful and experimental.
Bukem laces up bleepy, warehouse Techno alongside these outrageous, sinister UK Bass-&-Breaks ('hardcore/breakbeat' I guess, but so much more!).
Bukem was clearly not concerned with executing technical precision w/ this lot - he even transforms doubles (hip hop style!) and plays with the delay, and continues until the phasing creates an unpleasant wall of reverb Eek!
The mix is fucking brilliant, and ultimately it shows me that the man LTJ Bukem doesn't take himself *THAT* seriously, all the time.
