DJ Addiction - Live at AYA [Club Insomnia, DC] 9-5-2001

Looking at the weekly event Act Your Age (AYA), which ran for over a year and between two venues. Originally starting in 2000, in the basement of an Ethiopian restaurant in Adams Morgan, AYA eventually moved to a relatively new mega-club in DC called Insomnia, usually using the VIP-room for the weekly, but occasionally using a larger warehouse space on the top floor.

One very memorable night was when DJ Addiction (Defunked - UK) headlined.
Here is part one of his set that night, recorded live on September 5, 2001.

Showboat, the original venue - where AYA crew actually made DJ Lee *happen* (in the basement, an old haunted Disco notorious throughout the 70s and early 80s for all type-a-rogue ish!) is now a sushi restaurant called Saki. Insomnia was torn down for a parking garage, directly across the street from where Muse Lounge now sits. Yadda yadda.. peep the smooth gem dropped by the Addiction ;!
