Influenced by Record Store Day this weeks show is a vinyl only special, celebrating the artists and record labels releasing music on vinyl. Mainly new music but a few classics thrown in for good measure. There is Hip Hop from Ty, Hint, Mister Jason (featuring 26 rappers!), Blu and Rodney P. Soul music from new Tru Thoughts signing Harleighblu (that’s her real name btw), Sohn, Sylvia (as sampled by J Dilla) and Alice Russell. Deep beats from DJ Day, Bonobo and Ambassadeurs. Two reworks of The Simpsons theme, one from Dexter and one from Chicha Libre and plenty of other good musical treats with that lovely warm vinyl sound. Enjoy!
