DOWNLOAD TRU THOUGHTS PODCAST – Domu interviewed by Robert Luis .MP3

By Tru Thoughts
An interview with Domu discussing his perspective of the original Broken Beat scene including his musical journey from releasing D&B on 4hero’s Reinforced records aged 16. The influence of Goya Distribution as a base for the scene. Domu talks about how the influential Co-Op club night started and how it got its name. Jazzanova being influenced and studying the sonics of the Domu album on Archive and Domu realising that he had a mistake not switching a button whilst recording it but Jazzanova had thought he had done it on purpose. Playing Broken Beat at Drum and Bass nights the Reinforced crew were booked at and the clubbers and promoters looking a bit perplexed when they played the then new music genre and not D&B. The story behind his Co-Op anthem Save It. Plus of course we play lots of the tunes mentioned in the interview.
