“With this mix, I wanted to showcase the kind of hook-laden, polyrhythmic beats & melodic patterns that inspired me when I was writing for this project. Not just in Turkish music (although Satellites & Altin Gun are good examples of that) but also from other cultures and continents. I’ve always been obsessed with writing multiple hooks which interact & intertwine with each other, so writing for Sosyete ‘25 was an excellent opportunity to scratch that itch. However, working with Merve & Paul, it also allowed me to better understand how hooks & melody can help move the dancefloor. The second half of this mix looks more into that, with tracks from some of the best to do it, including SBTRK & Kaidi & Dego.” Glenn Fallows
