Ahead of the release of her debut album, Bristol-based producer and singer-songwriter Slowe presents "Slowe : Radio".
Slowe’s first full length LP 'Where The Mind Wanders' is out on Tru Thoughts on 28th July. Her DIY approach is reminiscent of lo-fi beat making, delicately collaging session recordings together, and repurposing techniques akin to those of J Dilla & Madlib. The result is both nostalgic & fiercely contemporary, with sparkling Rhodes, vintage drum lines, & ethereal vocals. An avid crate-digger, Slowe naturally takes inspiration from a plethora of genres, "Slowe : Radio", features a collection of Slowe's recent favourites and genre-spanning influences.
