To celebrate our 18th year, Tru Thoughts asked KCRW’s Garth Trinidad to create a mix showcasing some of his favorite songs from the label. As a long-time supporter of Tru Thoughts who helped bring awareness to the label in the US, Garth is the perfect candidate. Given a hard drive of the labels entire catalog, he created an eclectic mix that showcases the many sounds of the label over the span of 18 years.
To celebrate this milestone we are throwing their biggest parties yet! An evening of music at the Brighton Dome and a day long festival showcasing a fine selection of the lifeblood of the eclectic label at London’s historic Roundhouse venue, both are set to be wall-to-wall with good vibes and music.
