This one traces rare groove and edit culture across continents — Brazilian jazz-funk and Rio soul sitting alongside London broken beat, Afro-Colombian coastal rhythm, and Brooklyn Afrobeat. Golden-era hip-hop runs through the middle of it all, with jazz-rap classics and a Gil Scott-Heron and Nas pairing sitting comfortably next to deep house, disco, and dub reworks from labels like Tru Thoughts, Daptone, Yoruba, and Razor-N-Tape.
