Marc Nicholas is a DJ and jazz fusion dancer whose journey began in the late '80s, inspired by the legendary Floor Technicians and the iconic Hi Hat jazz dance sessions hosted by Snowboy and Phil Levene at London's Jazz Café. He's been behind the decks since 1989, cutting his teeth at Swindon's Brunel Rooms before appearing at landmark events like Shiftless Shuffle, Out To Lunch, and even delivering an uncredited jazz dance set at the Southport Weekender in 2001.

Marc co-ran De La Funk and has spun funk, soul, broken beat, and jazz fusion across the UK. He's the founder of The Jazz Quarterly (est. 2022), a regular club gig celebrating the depth and diversity of jazz dance, and Copasetic, a fresh broken beat session launched in 2025.
