Credited or otherwise, the influence of African music has shaped much of the music that we have and continue to enjoy. Today's special explores how rhythms and melodies from Africa have found their place amongst so many artists with diverse backgrounds. It’s a mood, a celebration of a selection of a few that have come before, through to a sampling of those that are inspired by elements of African tradition and direction, to create their own unique sound...
