This month’s Atmospheres is a special dedicated to Dean’s new compilation Directions In Music 1969 to 1973. The compilation looks at how Miles Davis albums of the era and his innovative sidemen changed the face of jazz, both acoustic and electric and the way that music was spread through those players’ own releases.

We have two hours of music playing the album in full, interspersed with cuts we either couldn’t fit on the album or which we weren’t able to licence.
