In an act of pure optimism for the months ahead, I’ve decided to revive 'Field Good', a series I started in the summer of 2019 as a celebration of music festivals in all their grubby-glory. Whilst we might not be waking up to the dissonant sounds of a sound-check, over-heating in sweaty tents or queuing for godawful porta-loos just yet, festivals are slowly making their return and therefore, so is this show. We’ll be sat atop a tall stranger’s shoulders, watching our favourite bands in no time.
This month I’m joined by Joey from The Close Encounter Club, an intergalactic live music venue orbiting Planet Earth. Their crew abduct the grooviest artists in the galaxy to perform live before the videos are transmitted back to Earth via their YouTube channel.
