"Jim Guynan has been obsessed with music since finding his Mum’s record box aged nine.
As a DJ, Jim has opened for the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Nine Below Zero, Alabama 3, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, The Real Thing, Rudimental and The Blockheads and performed at some prestigious venues including Hammersmith Apollo, Koko, Tower Bridge, The BFI (A Hard Days Night launch), and for four years was resident Friday night DJ at the 100 Club.
And now radio has provided him with a new outlet for his musical passions. He produces and presents a variety of music related programmes. Guests on his interview show The Chinwag have included Chas Hodges, The Spencer Davis Group, Bruce Welch and Ed Tudor Pole.
Most recently, The Sound Companion, a series of upbeat shows in support of the NHS and key workers, has received a loyal and appreciative response from listeners."
