On Moods for Moderns it's Shola's usual ear worms of the month from Femi Kuti, Manu Dibango, Tyson (McVey), N.E.R.D, The Stooges, Nino Ferrer... the second hour is dedicated to dub innovator, remixer and producer Dennis Bovell. The show will be playing a range of work associated with him from scoring the film Babylon, his own band Matumbi, production work on The Slits, post-punk band Orange Juice, Linton Kwesi Johnson, his engineering work on Fela Kuti and Ryuichi Sakamoto, remixing Jarvis Cocker and more... plus the dubbiest version of the Lovers Rock classic 'Silly Games'.
