Once again, ‘Into the Blogosphere’ compiles all the best of the past two weeks’ mp3 releases. It’s sort of like an audible version of DIY’s ‘Tracks’ section, only we’re replacing a pretty gallery with a few new music rants courtesy of host Jamie Milton.
This time round we’ve celebrating oddities; the musical geniuses who are on the same wavelength as just about nobody. Beginning quite fittingly with emerging psychedelic talent Vinyl Williams, we then move onto the extraordinarily promising debut track from London’s Teen Image, a typically abstract Balam Acab b-side and what might go down as Hot Chip’s most ambitious track to date, in ‘Flutes’.
