From the land of furry dice, blonde streaks, ballet slippers, speed and lager top, 80's Brit Funk has been consigned to the archives somewhat and with a bit of a bad rep image wise to boot, but in an attempt to try to make the uncool cool again, The Soap Co raided their DJ box and turfed out some of the zingiest, most pristinely produced floor busters we could find and resurrected a set of tunes that were all at once, hedonistic, innovative, meticulous, soulful & brash...and best of all, they were all from this side of the pond, proving whatever was coming out of the States, we were parallel with class and pure shit storming, thumb busting home grown Funk talent...
